Kicking goals: Autistic advocate Elise Muller joins the Western Bulldogs

Many of you will have heard of Elise; she’s a truly amazing individual who has been mentoring fellow Autistics and trailblazing the empowerment of women on the Spectrum since she was in her teens. She also has her own personal training business, and is a gun at football.

It’s this last point that brings us to her latest achievement; Elise has just been officially accepted into the Western Bulldogs VFLW team, and played in her first match this past weekend.

Needless to say, we’re completely stoked for her, and we’re sure she’ll be just as awesome a Bulldogs player as she is an advocate. A talent for footy may not be the first thing that comes to mind for many people when they hear the phrase “Autism”, but Elise reminds us that the Spectrum is broad and wonderfully varied.

Congratulations Elise!
